Measurements: 16 cm – width (with handles)


Description: A small, elegant stemless drinking cup with high black gloss. The wide shallow body sits on a low foot with convex bottom and. The vessel has thick ribbon-shaped handles, that are attached to the body just below the rim.

Provenance: Survanna collection, Sussex, 1975 – 1990.


Period: 5th – 4th cent. BC


Condition: Very fine, intact. Minor crazing to the surface and craquelure to the glaze on the bottom of the vessel and rim.
