Description: A small complete and very fine cuneiform tablet. This item is an early Old Akkadian legal document executed large clear script. The record is concerning disbursement of materials, perhaps bitumen or barley, it contains approximately 6 - 7 lines of text and it comes with a translation. Reverse is not inscribed.


Provenance: From the collection of the late Professor Geoffrey Wilson (Warwickshire).


Period: 2250 BC


Condition: Very fine, intact. Label residue caused slight discoloration on the back of the item.
