Description: A European Bronze Age bronze socketed axe. The piece has elongated trapezoid outline expanding to curved cutting edge. The cross-section is ovoid. It features a side loop on double moulded socket, while the shield pattern is moulded in parallel V-lines below socket.

Provenance: From an established German collection.


Period: 800 – 500 BC


Condition: Very fine, bright green patination covers the surface.
