BRONZE AGE INCISED ARM BAND

Measurements: 9.5 cm – internal diameter

 

Description: A central European Late Bronze Age arm band. Decorated with fine incised lines, with a lentoid cross-section. The lines are incised both transversely and longitudinally forming chevron patterns on the sides.

 

Reference: MacGregor, A., Antiquities from Europe and the Near East in the collection of the Lord McAlpine of West Green, 1987, Fig. 8.11.

 

Period: 800-500 BC

 

Condition: Very fine, occasional patches of green patina on the surfaces.
