A stunning and extremely well preserved pair of Ancient Roman gold earrings featuring a circular centre with a beautiful pendant decorated with fine granulation. The wide circular discus is decorated with a fine twisted wire around the edges, and granulation to the centre. The pendants feature a cylindrical bead, from which a grape-like cluster hangs with gold beads adorned with rows of gold granules. Weight: 5.1 g.

Date: Circa 2nd-3rd Century AD
Condition: Extremely fine, complete and intact. These earrings are suitable for modern wear with modern hook or stud applied. Please consult a professional jeweller for any alterations.
