Measurements: 11.4 cm - length


Description: A Bronze Age socketed axe head, decorated on both sides with a series of concentric teardrop-shaped lines and featuring a corded band around the socket. The casting seam is visible above and below where the two halves have been joined.


Period: 2nd millennium BC


Condition: Very fine, intact, with patination over the entire surface.  Minor chipping to the blade and edges.
