Description: An interesting Ancient Roman bronze hook-and-spike, composed of a pointed body, a hole to the rounded end of the stem, and two hooks. The additional hook close to the end of the stem was probably used as an oil lamp-cleaning tool in Antiquity. Part of the original chain still attached.


Period: 1st-3rd Century AD


Condition: Fine, complete and intact.
